Tournament Rules
1. 2 pool games, with 3rd game bracket play.
2. NFHS and KHSAA rules will be used except where modified by specific tournament rules.
3. 2 Time outs per half
4. Overtime: 3 min. If tied after 3 min an additional 3 min will be played with the first team scoring winning the game.
5. The home team will provide the official scorekeeper.
6. The referee may stop the clock at any time. Intentionally wasting time to shorten the game can be punished with a technical foul. This does not apply to delay offense.
7. No outside food or drinks. Players may bring drinks for games.
8. There will be 2 coaches passes per team.
9. Any coach ejected for unsportsmanlike behavior must leave the gym immediately and is ineligible for the next scheduled game. If a coach is ejected for a second time they are ineligible for the remainder of the tournament.
10. Grades 5 and under will use a 28.5 ball
11. Grade 6 boy and above will use 29.5 ball.
12. Pool play tie breaker: a) Head to Head, b)If more than two (2) teams tie, a point differential tie-breaker will be applied. The point differentials of the teams involved in the tie are totaled. Teams are then ranked according to the sum of the point differential - with the highest number placing above the second highest point total and the third highest point total next. The maximum that you can beat a team and still gain an advantage is 15 points. c) If two (2) teams are still tied after the application of the formula, go back to (a.) to break the tie.

PROTEST RULES:
MUST PROTEST BEFORE TIPOFF. $125.00 FEE TO PROTEST. If the team cannot provide birth certificates the $125.00 will be awarded back and team will be disqaulified.
